What to wear

Light, comfortable casual clothing (Lycra is optional).  The weather forecast is looking perfect for the event but we recommend you come prepared for cool overnight temperatures.  You don’t need any fancy cycling gear just come relaxed and ready to ride.

You want you to #RideBright in your most colourful gear, light up your bike and illuminate the streets of Perth.  We’re thinking glow-in-the-dark facepaint, fairylights, glowsticks and lots of colour.

#RideBright for your chance to win!

Thanks to our friends at iLight we have four iLight Starter Pack (valued at $250). to give away to our most colourful and inventive riders

iLight will fill your house with more than colour.  It can sync with your music, link to your alarms, timers and alerts and even help regulate your body clock.  Find out how iLight can colour your world HERE>>

The course

The easy-to-ride course is signposted with directional arrows and flashing LED lights.  Some of the corners will have marshals to point you in the right direction (give them a wave as you go passed).

You can view the course map HERE>>

We will be providing turn-by-turn direction guides on the night – you can collect one when you check-in or download a copy HERE (save a copy to your phone).

Please note the course is subject to change without notice.

Road rules apply

The course uses a combination of roads and shared paths.  You will be sharing the roads with other traffic and normal road rules apply throughout the event.  Unless otherwise directed by Police you must obey all traffic signals and signs.

Luminocity is NOT a race and the event is untimed. Take your time to soak up the atmosphere, stop to take a few selfies and enjoy the ride

You can download a copy of the Cycling Rules HERE
